A Transfer of Service fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be charged to a customer’s account when the water service is transferred from one location to another on the City Utility System. You must contact City Hall for this service.
Complete a Request for Disconnect Form and submit signed request, along with a valid picture ID by email to the Utility Billing Clerk at [email protected]
Utility Service cannot be disconnected to the account unless (1) the person on the account is requesting it or (2) proper documentation allowing you to disconnect the water at the address is presented, such as a Lease Agreement, Death Certificate, or Property Deed.
A Utility Service Deposit shall remain on the customer’s deposit on their account held by the City for the life of the customer’s account. The Utility Service Deposit or a portion thereof will be paid to the customer when final service is rendered, providing the final bill has been paid or after the deposit has been applied toward the final bill. Please be sure to us with your forwarding address.
In the event a customer’s water service is terminated for non-payment, full payment of the PAST DUE charges is required to re-establish the customer’s account as well as a Utility Service Deposit of thirty dollars ($30.00) and a Re-Connect Fee of thirty dollars ($30.00).
All are required prior to service reconnection.
There will be NO after hours connections!!!
