TRAFFIC TICKETS

Please do not contact the Court the same day you receive your Citation. Allow 2 to 3 business days from the Violation Date before contacting the Court.

  • You can pay for the ticket before your court date on your citation or come to court on said court date and speak with the Clerk.
  • You can call or come into City Hall to find out if you are eligible for Deferred probation or Driver's Safety course during business hours on/before your court date.
  • If you do not appear to court or pay fine by the court date you will receive an outstanding citation letter and you will have 30 days after receiving the letter to take care of the citation by: Contacting the court for another court date or paying the fine. If the citation is not taken care of after the 30 days it will result in a warrant issued along with more charges.
  • If the violator is 16 or under 16 years of age they must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian for court.
  • If you are needing a payment plan you must come into City Hall and sign a payment plan agreement.

  • Must know the amount of the fine and your Citation Number

  • There will be a convenience fee attached to make these payments.

2) Pay Online at www.trafficpayment.com

  • Must know the amount of the fine and your Citation Number

3) Appear in Person

  • You may visit the Court Clerk at City Hall during normal business hours.
  • Must appear in person to sign up for Driving Safety, Deferred Disposition, or to Request to see the Prosecutor if you feel you are Not Guilty
