10/22/24: Hill County Commissioners Court extended the previous 7-day Disaster Burn Ban. The new Burn Ban is valid for not exceeding 30 days unless modified by the Commissioners Court. Our Keetch-Byram Drought Index has passed 600 points, so things are still dry and dangerous to burn in Hill County. Once received, a copy of the new Burn Ban order will be sent out.
