On March 28, 2024, at the special session of the City Council meeting, the city council voted to adopt ORDINANCE NO. 2024-03-02, amending Chapter 2, “Animal Control,” to replace Chapter 2 with a requirement that all dogs and cats over four months of age be registered with the City and make various minor amendments that bring it up to date with state law.
