REQUEST NEW SERVICE 

  1. Complete a New Service Application

  2. Valid Picture ID

  3. Signed Lease Agreement

  4. Deposit To The Utility Billing Clerk

  5. Submit all documents to City Hall 

     

If you are a resident 70 years or older:

Present proof to the Clerk for a Senior Citizen Discount for a discount on the administration fee and late fee on your water bill.

New Service Connection Fee:

A Deposit of $165.00 and Connect Fee of $10.00 shall be charged and paid up front to all water service accounts before water service can be connected.

TRANSFERRING SERVICES

A Transfer of Service fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be charged to a customer’s account when the water service is transferred from one location to another on the City Utility System.

REQUEST FOR UTILITY SERVICE DISCONNECT

Complete a Request for Disconnect Form and submit signed request, along with a valid picture ID by email to the Utility Billing Clerk or fax to (254) 694-5332.

Utility Service cannot be disconnected to the account unless the person on the account is requesting it or proper documents allowing you to disconnect is presented.

FINAL BILL – RETURN OF DEPOSIT

The Utility Service Deposit or a portion thereof will be paid to the customer when final service is rendered, providing the final bill has been paid or after the deposit has been applied toward the final bill. Please be sure to us with your forwarding address.

DEPOSITS REQUIRED DUE TO NON-PAYMENT:

In the event a customer’s water service is terminated for non-payment, to re-establish customer’s account, a Utility Service Deposit of thirty dollars ($30.00) and a Re-Connect Fee of thirty dollars ($30.00) is required prior to service reconnection.

A Utility Service Deposit shall remain on the customer’s deposit on their account held by the City for the life of the customer’s account. In the event of termination for non-payment the account will be turned on the same day.

There will be NO after hours connections!!!


UTILITY BILLING HOME
